TotalEnergies entered Fiji and Tonga markets through the acquisition of Shell’s assets in November 2006 and has quickly established itself as a market leader in the inland and marine fuel markets in Fiji. Our Fiji business consists of a full suite of ground activities that include retail service stations, commercial and bulk fuels, marine activities, and lubricants.

Storage Tanks in Fiji

TotalEnergies Marketing (Fiji) Pte Ltd. owns six storage facilities in Fiji with the main terminals located at Walu Bay and Rodwell Road in Suva and Vuda Point in Lautoka. Five (5) of these terminals and depots are operated by TotalEnergies while the remaining one (1) is managed and operated by 3rd parties.

All products are shipped via MR Tankers, capable of carrying up to 40kT to Vuda and Suva terminals. These MR Tankers also deliver to other major Pacific Islands countries. Smaller Pacific Islands’ state is serviced by Local Coastal tanker (LCT) from our Vuda Point terminal.

 

Logistics and networks in Fiji

A fleet of 20 trucks both owned and distributor managed is utilized for all ground fuel deliveries. We also operate 25 service stations and service approximately 300 commercial accounts including the Fiji government, Fiji Electricity Authority, Vatukoula Gold Mine and most bus and transport companies. TotalEnergies is the market leader in Fiji with varying positions across market segments and is by far the market leader in Marine segment. Our marine customers include FCF, Golden Ocean, Hangton and Fiji Fish, the major fishing companies in Fiji.
